Instructions
  1. Draw an area on the map and click Export OpenIntent. You get an OpenIntent file.
  2. In your Hamina project, open the breadcrumb dropdown, choose Import / Export (third icon), and import the OpenIntent file.
  3. When the import finishes, click Copy terrain here and paste it into Hamina.
How it works

OpenClutter builds an outdoor Hamina site model in about a minute from free public data:

  • Buildings from Microsoft and OpenStreetMap at real heights
  • Trees from lidar and canopy height data
  • Terrain from USGS 3DEP and national models
  • A high-resolution Esri aerial image
  • Two GPS points for AFC, and obstruction notes

Every object gets a sensible default attenuation, so hours of hand-drawing become a few clicks.
